Examples of particular types of Dystonia.

Twisting or turning of the head to one side, forwards, backwards or combinations of movements.
Jaw opening or clenching.

Tongue protrusion.

Cramping of the hand causing difficulty writing or performing other repetitive tasks e.g. typing, playing musical instruments, playing golf.
Involuntary closure of the eyes.
'Strangled' or 'breathy' speech which is of low volume and strained.
